Dear
Travelers,
Thank
you for visiting our website. Before you continue we
would like to introduce ourselves to you. Enchantment
Tours was established in 2001 after discovering
the high interest in touring through South Africa. In
the last years the tourism industry in South Africa has
grown drastically, and with it all product holders and
tour operators have gained a lot of experience and
knowledge about what our tourists like and expect from
us.
Enchantment Tours as well has grown with the market. We
have been traveling with people from all over the world
through South Africa since 2001 and every time this has
been a wonderful experience for our guests as well as
for us.
Enchantment is a partnership between Anita Meijberg and
Tyron Van Tonder. Anita is born and raised in the
Netherlands and Tyron is a proud South African. We are
young at mind and heart and full of energy and traveling
is more a hobby for us than work. After we met each
other working on a cruise ship we decided to start our
future in South Africa. Anita has gained a degree in
tourism in the Netherlands and we both have gained our
experience by working on cruise ships all over the world
for over 5 years, where client friendliness and
excellent service is a must. These are also our points
we like to highlight in our tours. (Tyron worked on the
construction and sailed on the
Enchantment of the Seas, hence our name
Enchantment Tours). Our tours are personal with the
needs of our guests in the first place. Apart from that
we aim for a professional and friendly service with high
standards.
A
tour with us is an experience on its own. You will gain
a good feel about how life in South Africa is and get to
see all the different aspects from landscapes to animals
to culture and history. We are flexible and our tours
can be adjusted to the groups we have. We aim for small
and family groups who like to have their own
unforgettable experience.
Because of our self educated and
knowledge in culture and nature guides, our intensive
contacts with personally inspected hotels, guesthouses
and lodges, our specialized operators we are able to let you experience the miracles
of South Africa as no other.
For
your own peace of mind Enchantment Tours has all the
legal aspects in place like a full insurance and proper
permits.

Meet the Enchantment Team
Anita Meijberg
Anita was born in Dwingeloo, Drenthe.
She is
co-owner of the company and also responsible for
the daily operations in South Africa. After
graduating her HEAO Tourism training
successfully she went traveling all over the
world. Before she went to South Africa she
worked on cruise ships and in France to
obtain more experience. The last few years
she is working as a tour
guide in the Eastern, Western Cape and
Natal. Her passion is to work with people
and with these skills she is managing their
own guesthouse in South Africa.

Tyron van Tonder
Tyron was born and raised in Port Elizabeth in
the Eastern Cape. He worked as a technician in
the casino- and cruise industry. As co-owner and
founder of the
company he is supporting the office with lots of
knowledge. He is also a skilled tour guide and
driver.
He spends his free time with motor racing and
other action sports.

Tours?
The first question what would
come into your mind is, why should I use this
company? With other words what makes us different.
Our biggest and strongest point
is SERVICE, and especially personal service. We have
both worked five years in the cruising industry and
learned that service and client friendliness is
outmost important. We will definitely go the extra
mile for you and will do anything to make your
holiday to South Africa an unforgettable experience.
In order to keep our
outstanding service into place we like to do as much
as possible ourselves. We listen to the client and
the client wishes and from there we work together
further on your holiday. We will give you
professional advice and help where is needed.

experience in travel. We have both traveled a lot in
our lives and do know what you are looking for and
what to think of.
Enchantment Tours is
specialized in Self drive Tours, which means that
you drive yourself but we arrange your full
itinerary and make all the bookings needed. Next to
that you get help with the planning of your trip and
advice on where to go and what to see and do. As a
bonus we will send you an extensive information pack
to make your holiday as easy as possible. You can
reach us anytime in South Africa if there are any
problems during your trip.
